Parent Item Click Behaviour

Accordion Menus respect the ‘Second Click Behaviour’ option set in the Mega Menu > General Settings page. Therefore, when clicking a parent menu item you have two choices depending on the ‘Second Click Behaviour’ setting:

First click opens sub menu, second click follows link
First click opens sub menu, second click closes sub menu

Making Parent Menu Item Clickable

If you want to be able to click the parent item and go straight to that page (without first opening the sub menu):

1. Install the “TC Custom JavaScript” plugin.
2. Go to Appearance > Custom JavaScript and paste in the following:
   
   jQuery( document ).ready(function($) { $('.mega-menu-accordion a.mega-menu-link').unbind(); });

3. Go to Appearance > Menus and ensure the ‘Accordion Behaviour’ option is set to ‘Keep active submenus open’.
